Arsenal have expressed their full hope in signing key defender Ben White to a new contract extension. The Gunners are in talks with the defender which are progressing well. This has led to optimism that an agreement will eventually be reached football.
White has been in good form at Arsenal since the club splashed out £50m to sign him from Brighton in the summer of 2021.

In the past, the club has tried to push for new contracts with key players. Stars such as Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and William Saliba have already signed new contracts.
White came to Arsenal from a strong centre-back position with Brighton and Mikel Arteta used him in that area initially.
The Spanish manager then replaced White as a right-back last season. After the return of William Saliba, he proved excellent in that role.
